Bhavya Gowda, MPH

Bhavya Gowda is a market dynamics officer at PATH and currently supports a wide variety of projects within the organization. She has almost 10 years of combined private sector and international health experience, including living and working in Sub-Saharan Africa for 3 years.  Before joining PATH, Ms. Gowda worked as a program manager for the American Cancer Society’s Global Cancer Treatment Program and managed projects in Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia.  Prior to that role, Bhavya worked at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) in both Lesotho and Ethiopia. In Lesotho, Bhavya managed the access to medicines and diagnostics program by providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Health(MOH)’s HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis programs In Ethiopia, Bhavya served as the deputy program manager for the labs program.  Prior to venturing into global health, Bhavya was a healthcare consultant at Huron Consulting Group where she worked within the life sciences and clinical research compliance practice areas and provided services to academic medical centers, universities, and major research institutions.  Ms. Gowda holds a Masters in Science of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University – Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Michigan – Ross School of Business.
